Good food. Good company. One more hand.
Everything happens around a table.
A contemporary Montréal sharing restaurant, cocktail bar, and social offline poker loft. Seasonal Québec dining, open-fire cooking, Canadian wines, and cocktails—plus in-person Texas Hold'em poker nights for guests 18+.
The Table Concept
At Cedar Gather, the table is more than furniture—it's where stories are shared, plates are passed, and hands are played. Our space is designed around the communal table, encouraging conversation and connection from the first course to the last hand. The table remains the centre of the evening, whether you arrive for dinner, stay for cocktails, or settle in for a friendly game.
Good food. Good company. One more hand.
Dinner Table: Food. Drinks. Conversation.
Seasonal Québec Dining
Our kitchen celebrates the seasons with shareable plates cooked over an open fire. Menus change with the seasons, highlighting local producers and ingredients. Dishes are designed to be shared, encouraging conversation around the table.
- Open-fire cooking with seasonal Québec ingredients
- Shareable plates built for the centre of the table
- Menus that follow the rhythm of local producers
Canadian Wines and Cocktails
Pair your meal with a selection of Canadian wines or a cocktail from our bar. Our wine list focuses on Canadian vineyards, with a nod to Québec's emerging wine scene. Cocktails are crafted with the same attention to seasonal ingredients.
The Atmosphere
Warm cedar, soft lighting, and the hum of conversation create an inviting space. The dining room is designed to feel like a contemporary loft, with natural materials and circular motifs. Tables are arranged to encourage a sense of community.
Late Table: Cocktails. Music. Company.
As dinner winds down, the energy shifts. The lights lower, the music picks up, and the bar takes centre stage. Our cocktail menu features both classics and original creations, using local spirits and seasonal ingredients. The playlist is curated to keep the mood lively but conversation-friendly.
- Classic cocktails with a Montréal point of view
- Original creations built around seasonal produce
- Local spirits and Canadian wine by the glass
The late table is about lingering with friends, old and new. Comfortable seating and a relaxed pace encourage guests to stay a while. The bar area is designed for mingling, with standing tables and a view of the mixologists at work.
Poker Table: Texas Hold'em. Physical Cards. Real People.
Social, Offline Poker
Our poker nights are about the game, the people, and the atmosphere—not about wagering. We host in-person Texas Hold'em games at physical tables. No online play, no wagering, and no gambling transactions of any kind. It's a chance to enjoy the game in a relaxed, social setting.
The Experience
Expect friendly competition, good-natured banter, and the thrill of the flop. Games are hosted regularly, with a focus on fun and fair play. Our poker loft is designed to feel like a private club, with comfortable seating and proper card tables. Guests must be 18+ to join.
The Transition Visual
The evening flows naturally: dinner, drinks, and then a friendly game. Guests can book dinner and then stay for poker, or join just for the game. The transition is seamless, with the same warm atmosphere throughout.
